Therapy is a space to slow down, take an honest look at what’s happening in your life, and begin to relate to your experience in a different way.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, burnout, difficult emotions, and patterns that feel hard to change. Our work is collaborative and grounded in the understanding that you bring essential knowledge of your own life and experience.
My approach is rooted in contemplative psychotherapy, which emphasizes awareness, emotional clarity, and developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Rather than trying to “fix” or override your experience, we work to understand it—so that change can emerge in a way that is stable and sustainable.
I also draw inspiration from other psychological and contemplative approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), which I have explored through reading and personal study. I remain open to integrating ideas from different modalities when they may be helpful in our work together.
Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 75–90 minutes for couples and families, offered either in-person or via telehealth.
The name “MyTree” is inspired by the Sanskrit word Maitri, often translated as “lovingkindness.” In this context, lovingkindness refers to relating to yourself and others with openness, patience, and care—even in the presence of difficulty.
In our work together, this does not mean passive acceptance or avoiding change. Rather, it means developing a steady and supportive way of relating to your experience, so that meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
I invite you to reach out if you’d like to schedule a first session or ask questions.
